Employee Spotlight – Bobbi Johnson

Bobbi Johnson, Contract Coordinator

Where did you work before Capital Business Systems?
Before I worked at Capital Business Systems, I worked as a customer service rep in the call center for Warren Federal Credit Union, which is now Blue Federal Credit Union.

Briefly describe what you do each day at work.
As a contract coordinator, I oversee contract billing and keep our contract information up-to-date. I work closely with our customers to answer their contract and billing questions, as well as assisting our internal sales and service teams with any contract-related questions they may have. I also assist our customers with placing service calls, ordering supplies, and help provide support to our technicians from day to day.

What’s the best thing about working in the Cheyenne office?
The Cheyenne office is full of fun, friendly people who I enjoy working with each day. Oh, and we are about 5 minutes away from a Cinnabon!

How do you define success?
I think that success is the satisfying feeling of knowing you made a difference in someone else’s day- big or small.

What do you like to do when you’re not at the office?
My husband and I recently adopted a kitten, so he keeps us quite busy and entertained! I am a trained severe weather-spotter through the NWS and enjoy tracking down storms in the Spring and Summer. I also enjoy baking goodies for my family, reading, and gaming.

Fill in the blank: I once met…
The country singer Sam Hunt. My family attended the CMA awards in Nashville a few years ago and after the show, he randomly jumped on our tour bus and took photos with everyone.

Favorite 3 movies:
Pulp Fiction
The Waterboy
The Nightmare Before Christmas

If you had to eat one meal, every day for the rest of your life, what would it be?
I’d have to go with either sushi or steak burritos!

What advice would you give others in your profession?
My advice to anyone in a customer service-oriented position would be to approach each interaction with patience, empathy and a positive attitude. It really is true that even over the phone, customers can hear your smile.
